About the Conference

The conference founders and hosts are ABB South Africa and Martec, who together with key industry representatives are organising the PdMSA 2011 Predictive Maintenance Conference as part of their contribution toward professional development programmes for managers, engineers and technologists in the industrial, mining and utility sectors in Southern Africa responsible for maintenance and reliability enhancement.

The main focus of the conference is on maintenance management tools and systems as well as condition assessment, condition monitoring and other reliability enhancement technologies applicable to all forms of electrical and mechanical power plant.

An identified aim of the conference is to encourage cross-pollination and sharing of useful knowledge and experience in maintenance practice through the creation of networking opportunities.

The conference will take place over two days at ABB South Africa (Pty) Ltd, ABB Campus, 2 Lake Road, Longmeadow Business Estate North, Modderfontein, Johannesburg on 4th and 5th October 2011.

There will be a formal exhibition attached to the conference.

The objectives of the conference are to provide an opportunity for delegates to become acquainted with the latest local and international developments and trends in predictive maintenance strategies and technology aimed at improving plant uptime utilising best in class maintenance and reliability enhancement management tools, condition assessment and condition monitoring products and services.

The standard delegate fee is R9 000 excluding VAT, with discount possibilities as follows:

  • Earlybird registration with payment received before 12th August –  less 15%.
  • Members of the SAIEE  – less 10%.
