Delegates who are Professional members of the IISA are requested to supply their membership number.
Golf Competition
Fourballs can be booked with the golf organiser. Only registered delegates will be allowed to book for the golf competition. In case of cancellation after 07 July 2016, golf fees will not be refunded. Please note that the Gary Player course is fully booked, however you may opt to be waitlisted should an opening arise later.
The participation fee per person is R650 and this includes halfway house drinks, a light lunch at both courses and golf carts at Lost City Golf Course only. Refreshments during the prize giving after the game are for your own account, as are the caddy and Caddy Foundation fees of R245.00. Golf carts are not permitted at Gary Player Country Club, except for disabled players and that is for your own account.
Please provide names of preferred fourball partners.
Let us know if you have any special needs (e.g. wheelchair access), special requests, or medical conditions the organisers should know about to ensure your comfort and enjoyment at the conference.
ACCOMMODATION DETAILS
  • Accommodation rates are subject to availability.
  • Accommodation will be allocated on a "first come first served" basis. All rates quoted are vat inclusive.
  • Accommodation rates include breakfast, but exclude the 1% Tourism Levy on the accommodation portion of the rate. This will be charged as an extra to your hotel bill.
  • At check-in, delegates will be required to provide a credit card imprint, or cash deposit, to secure the cost of extras.

REGISTRATIONS
Confirmation of registration, together with a Tax Invoice, will be sent to you on receipt of your registration. Should you not receive the above documents within 48 hours of registration, please contact Ripcord Promotions to ensure that your registration has been received. When making a direct deposit, please ensure that your name and unique PIN number are reflected on the deposit slip/proof of payment, and forward same to Ripcord Promotions.

CANCELLATIONS/AMENDMENTS
Having submitted the on-line registration form, the applicant accepts responsibility for full payment of the registration fee without prejudice. An invoice will be issued on registration and payment is due within seven (7) days from receipt of invoice. Payment must be received in full prior to the conference.

All cancellations and refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Conference Secretariat – iisareg@ripcord.za.com.

  • 25 April 2016 - 90 days and more, prior to the commencement date of the Conference – 10% administration charge of registration fee.
  • 30 May 2016 - 60 days and more, prior to the commencement date of the Conference - 50% cancellation fee will be charged of the full value of the registration fee.
  • 24 June 2016 - 30 days prior to the commencement date of Conference – no refund.

No shows are liable for full registration fee. Accommodation payments will be refunded only if the reservation can be allocated to another delegate.

Delegates may be substituted at a fee of R500 up until 1 July 2016 and substitutions must be made in writing.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
In registering for The Insurance Conference 2016 – Business Unusual, relevant details will be incorporated into a participant list for the benefit of all delegates. Normally this information would be: name, surname, institution, country and email address. These details may also be available to parties directly related to the Conference including the venues and accommodation providers. IISA may use these details to inform current participants of Conference updates or future conferences via email. Participants are responsible for advising IISA if they do not wish to have their email addresses included in the conference participant list or IISA’s distribution list for future events.

RESPONSIBILITY
The Committee of The Insurance Conference 2016 – (referred to as the "Conference") will do everything possible to ensure that your attendance at the Conference will be as comfortable as possible. The Conference, any member or members of its committee and its appointed agents or sub-contractors, act on the basis that they attend to the arrangements of the Conference for the convenience of the Conference delegates. They perform all tasks on condition that the Conference, any member or members of its committee and its appointed agents or other sub-contractors cannot be held responsible or liable for any loss, personal injury, damage or inconvenience (however arising) experienced by delegates of the Conference; neither can they be held responsible or liable for unforeseen partial or total cancellation of the event for which no refunds can be guaranteed. The programme is subject to change without notice.
